Which locking mechanism should I buy?
When purchasing a Versapak product, most bags allow you to choose the type of locking mechanism the bag is fitted with. Versapak recommends the T2 locking mechanismto ensure the highest level of tamper evidence and traceability. We are also able to offer bags with button closure (for existing customers).

Tamper evident security seals
Security seals are used in industries worldwide to indicate possible tampering and interference to prevent unauthorized access. Versapak offers a wide range of security seals and seals, including our interlocking system security seals for use with our reusable bags, as well as plastic pull-through seals, security tags, metal security seals, security labels and VOID labels.
Security seals are available from stock and Versapak can also produce security seals with customized printing. We can print logos, barcodes and QR codes to suit your company.
The different types of security seals
For use with Versapak's tamper-evident bags, storage bags and transportation bags, we offer our patented T2 security seals for optimal protection against tampering as well as Button seals and arrow-shaped plug-in seals.
T2 plug-in seal for bags
The T2 is Versapak's premium tamper evident seal and offers the highest level of security against tampering. It features a unique, patented design with an enlarged, printable surface that allows easy scanning and reading of barcodes and numbers. It is antimicrobial to prevent infection and has two prongs for added security. The T2 offers maximum security against tampering as well as traceability. It is available in different colors, numbered, personalized and with barcode.

Pull-through seal for fire extinguishers
Versapak fire extinguisher seals are tamper evident seals for fire extinguishers and other items that require visual identification for regular testing or maintenance. For fire extinguishers in particular, these seals are broken during use to indicate that the extinguisher needs to be checked and refilled.
However, pull-through seals for fire extinguishers such as these are used in many different applications, from shipping crates to rolling containers, where visual identification is required to determine if the item has been tampered with.
