VersaShield™ products are Versapak's latest innovation in infection prevention and contain silver ions with antimicrobial properties (biocide B60533) that are incorporated into the material during the manufacturing process. From this point on and throughout the life of the material, bacteria cannot survive on its surface.
This technology actively kills bacteria such as MRSA, E. coli, mold and fungi without the need for chemical cleaners or intensive cleaning are. VersaShield™ has been proven effective in killing up to 99.5% of bacteria within 2 hours. Antimicrobial protection also extends to the handle, locking compartment and zipper, as well as Versapak's patented T2 safety seals, providing the highest level of infection prevention.
