Versapak aims to minimise its impact on the environment as much as possible. We have developed the Versapak sustainability strategy to determine, monitor and improve our sustainability. We are constantly looking for ways to improve the way we work with our customers and suppliers and the way we run our company.

• Our reusable bags can hold more than 2.000 times.
• Our energy-efficient injection moulding machine, which is used to produce most of our security seals, helps to reduce our impact on the environment.
• In addition, our security seals with locking mechanism are 100% recyclable,
• and are also made from recycled plastic.
• Our campaign for the recycling of plastic seals: Send us back your used seals and we will recycle them.
• "Recycle Your Versapak" campaign: We use waste material and surplus bags and recycle the material.

In January 2024, Versapak Europe achieved the bronze award from Ecovadis. Ecovadis is a leading sustainability rating platform that assesses the environmental, social and ethical performance of companies in various industries. The bronze award indicates a commendable level of sustainability practices within our organisation. We are proud to have received this award as it emphasises our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

At Versapak, we attach great importance to waste avoidance and use surplus and scrap material to produce pencil cases. Through close cooperation with charitable organisations, schools and charitable food banks, we are able to distribute these pencil cases to less privileged children.

In addition, we take back Versapak bags at the end of their useful life and use the material to make mats for the homeless. We also donate used bags and carrier bags to charity.
