Versapak strives to minimize its impact on the environment. We developed the Versapak Sustainability Strategy to identify, monitor and improve our sustainability efforts. We continually seek improvements in the way we work with customers and suppliers, as well as in our own business conduct.

• Reusable products - Versapak bags and carriers are reusable over 2,000 times.
• Energy efficient injection molding machine that produces most of our safety closures.
• Our safety closures with locking mechanism are 100% recyclable.
• Our safety closures with locking mechanism are made from recycled plastic.
• Recycling of closures - send Return your used fasteners to us and we will recycle them.
• Recycle your Versapak initiative - we use waste material and excess bags and straps and recycle the material.

In January 2024, Versapak Europe achieved the bronze award from Ecovadis. Ecovadis is a leading sustainability assessment platform that assesses the environmental, social and ethical performance of companies across various industries. The Bronze award denotes a commendable level of sustainability practices within our organization. We are proud to have received this award as it highlights our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

At Versapak, reducing waste is very important to us, so we use our excess material to make pencil cases. We work closely with charities, schools and food banks to distribute the cases to children in need.

We also take back used Versapak bags and recycle the material to make tarpaulins that we donate to homeless charities. We also donate usable bags and carriers to charity.
