Versapak UK was founded by Ian in 1973 in a small office above a restaurant in Chislehurst, Kent. As a father of two and entrepreneur, Ian not only started a business, but also a ski school and a rock band. He launched Versapak and its name product, the Versapak, a simple but effective reusable security mailing bag. The Versapak range became known for its durability, security and cost-effectiveness and soon became widely accepted by postal authorities and courier companies worldwide.
The Versapak business flourished in the UK and after a few years began to export to many countries around the world to expand. Versapak International's UK headquarters are in Erith, Kent, where we have a very active sales and marketing office and warehouse. Versapak Europe has a sales office and warehouse in Haan, Germany and was founded in 2002. The Versapak Group has production facilities in Romania and has been operating since 2001.
