Versapak UK was founded in 1973 by Ian Denny Anderson in a small office above a restaurant in Chislehurst, Kent. As a father of two, owner of a business and ski school, and member of a rock band, he launched the company Versapak and its namesake product, Versapak: a simple but effective reusable security shipping bag. The Versapak range quickly became known for its durability, security and cost-effectiveness and quickly enjoyed widespread acceptance by postal authorities and courier services around the world.
The Versapak business prospered in the UK and after a few years began selling in many countries in the world to expand. Versapak International's UK headquarters are in Erith, Kent, where we have our very active sales and marketing office and warehouse. Versapak Europe was founded in 2002 and has a sales office and warehouse in Haan, Germany. The Versapak Group has production facilities in Romania, where it has been active since 2001.
